For those of you unaware, a dip tank dramatically decreases the amount of chemicals used when reclaiming screens, and also saves you a ton of time! Simply fill the dip tank with 3 gallons of CCI Dip N' Strip solution, then fill the rest of the way with water. The dip tank can hold up to six 23"x31" screens at a time, and the solution inside simultaneously breaks down the ink and emulsion from the screens. After a screen has soaked for about 3 minutes, the ink and emulsion will wash right off with ease. No more spraying, and scrubbing, and getting harsh chemical fumes in your lungs! The life-span of the chemicals inside the dip tank depends on the frequency of use, but in general the chemicals should be replaced approximately every 6 months under very heavy use, or earlier if you notice your screens becoming increasingly difficult to reclaim over time.
