Permaset Supercover HSA Ink - FD White - 4L

FD White, which stands for "First Down White", is the perfect underbase ink for any application. FD White provides smooth and even coverage, and can serve as the underbase for not only water based inks, but plastisol inks as well! Simply print a layer with your FD White, flash, then put the plastisol colors on top for a much softer hand than a typical plastisol underbase. Like all Permaset Inks, FD White is eco-friendly and 100% solvent free, so you can rest easy knowing you're using the best quality ink with the least amount of impact on the environment.

For best results we recommend printing these inks through 110-160 mesh, however higher mesh counts can be used to achieve a softer hand but not as bright finish.

Curing Instructions

Printed fabric should be cured for a minimum of 90 seconds at 360°F. Ideally, printed fabric should be cured for three minutes at 300-320°F. Airflow is crucial to remove steam outside of dryer chamber. If your conveyor dryer does not have forced air and proper ventilation, gates should be opened as high as possible to help allow steam from escaping, and ink to reach a full cure.

Storage and Clean Up

Keep containers tightly sealed, and store in a cool, well-ventilated area. Ink should be removed from screen as soon as printing is completed. Water based inks can typically be easily cleaned with just water. If ink is allowed to dry on screen or other surface, you can use one of our water based ink cleaners.
